Snowy river country

When we left Apollo bay we went to Torquey and went to a surf museum and the beach. Then we saw some of dads family near Melbourne and then drove into the mountains because we couldnt camp on the coast anymore because too many people. We camped on the snowy river for 1 night and while mum and dad packed up we went liloing down the river with a german family. We drove passed the highest mountain in Australia Kosiousko but couldnt go to the top because there was a traffic jam.

We also went to Corryong on new years eve and we just made it to the rodeo. The rodeo was really fun and funny. It was funny because people were gettin thrown off horses and bulls and the cowboys were jumping off their horses onto small bulls and taking them down!!!!!!!

We learnt how to catch grasshoppers for fishing for trout but we didnt catch any. Dad went flying. We saw the murray river again. We learnt about the man from Snowy River and went to Jack Rileys grave he was the man who the story was about.

We went to Tumut and camped at a great spot on a creek with a pool and rapids. It was really hot so we just played on our lilos all day for 3 days. We caught 2 trout and went on a suspension bridge and it was pretty scarey!

Now we are in Canberra and it looks like a great place.
